1. When did you start crafting? I started crafting back in 2000 or so. It happened quite by accident. My son waited until the last minute to inform about a science fair project. So, off to the craft store we went. While he wandered in area he needed, I was in the jewelry making aisle. There were displays hanging and I thought ,"I can do that." From that point I was off and running. I bought basic supplies and made things for myself. Wore the items I made, they were noticed and requests were made. TnT Designs was born. TnT came from the names of my children Tanesia & Tyson (TnT).

.What are your favorite colors? Well, when I first started, I made a lot of pieces in dark colors. I was a Program Coordinator and Corporate Trainer in the Social Services field. Given the arena, dark colors worked well. All of my customers were collegues, so that is also what sold. I later discovered energy healing and got into semi-precious stones. So, very soon, I will be focusing more on working with semi-precious stones, the potential combinations to maximize the healing elements. In short, no true favorite color.

.When did you open your etsy shop? I opend my Etsy shop February 14, 2007. It was suggested to me by a co-worker. I currently work part-time in a bead store. Gotta feed my habit some how. This co-worker works for the most part with seed beads making dolls and such. She suggested Etsy as a jump off over E-bay. So, here I am.

.What do you like about having a Etsy shop? Given that i am new to Etsy. What I am most impressed with is the support that those new to Etsy are given. Yeah, you hear the grumblings, but you hear that everywhere. I am taking what I need and am leaving the rest. Hey, everything is suggestion and the final decision is ultimately mine. Make or break. Experience is a great teacher and it would be unwise of me to at least not listen to those who have been here a little longer. I only hope that I am able to PIF as it was given to me.

.What do you think of the indie shop interviews? I am enjoying this interivew. For those who take the time to participate and those who then choose to read the interviews, I believe that they will learn that although we have diverse talents, come from different places, and arrived in varied ways, we have basically ended up in the same place. Hopefully, a reminder that are never alone and that we can not survive without one another. You can find TnTDesigns.etsy.com here. Item to check out .Turquoise Linked
