1. when did you start crafting? . I started crafting when I was in high school...and professionally since the spring of 2005, when I started Strong Girl Inc.

2. Have you done any shows the season? I am participating in "The Lot" at 2038 North Ave in Chicago, and hopefully in the Renegade Craft Fair, and also the Indifest on Randolph

3.what got you into silkscreening tee's? I started silkscreening the "Strong Girl" tees because I wanted a way to spread my message of empowerment on a grander scale. Strong Girl Inc's mission is to instill confidence in girls so that they have the ability to grow into intelligent, confident, strong women. The reason why I started Strong Girl Inc...about a year ago a man attempted to abduct me at gunpoint while getting off the purple line in Chicago one evening after work...I fled my attacker and he was caught later that night...long story short, it did a lot of damage to my spirit, I got help, and wanted to do something to turn this horrible, negative experience I had into something empowering and positive...that was when Strong Girl Inc was born.
