1 when did you become a crafter? I have always been a crafter. My first memory of crafting is probably making clothes and accessories for my cabbage patch kids. My mom and my grandma were both crafty ladies and instilled a love of craft in our hearts at a young age.

2 what are your favorite colors? Oh I have so many favorites! I love pink and green and turquoise. I especially love pink and turquoise when combined with brown.

3 when did you open shop? I began to sell my handmade jewelry in the summer of 2002. I opened my online shop in September 2002.

4 what's hard about having an online shop? I think the hardest thing about selling online is that people, by nature, want to pick things up and touch them before they buy (I know I do). I can edit and re-edit my pictures and make the most descriptive text on the web but in the end it's not the same as having the piece in your hands.

5 My advice for people wanting to open a online store is ..? Pictures are key. If I got to a site and the pictures are terrible I usually will just leave. Your pictures need to look professional. Also, make sure to make payment secure for your customer and to have a thorough FAQ's page so that people feel safe buying from you.
