when did you start youre company? I officially started my company in May of 2005. Though, I had been working on, researching, dreaming about, planning and figuring things out since the summer of 2004.
what is youre best seller? Lately our best-seller is our "all-in-one" deluxe box. This is an adorable, big, pink keepsake box for brides that has every card in our collection in it. I, of course, anticipated that this box would sell the slowest (since its our priciest) so out of everything, I ordered the fewest of these. Our other best seller is our "your gift rocked the hizzouse" card and I think its because brides are so excited to find wedding stationery that is not of the typical, boring garden variety (which, if I do say so myself, NONE of ours is).
are craft stores evil?
Hmm...I 'm not sure if I'm missing something here, but I'm going to say Nooo.
at what age did you become a "crafter"? Well, I launched my own jewelry business at camp when I was about 8, so probably right around then. My mom is wonderfully talented embroiderer, my grandma paints, sews, knits, quilts and needlepoints, and my 3 other aunts also paint, knit and quilt, so I'm thrilled that I've got some seriously creative and crafty genes coursing through my veins.
whats the best part about having online shop? I love that I can help out a bride-to-be in some far off rural part of the country just as easily as I can a girl who lives in London. I love the flexibility of it. I love the fact that I can update my site and everyone can immediately see all of the new cool things we have. And, this is super silly, but I love my url: it really feels like my own little spot in the world to call my own.
