1 At what age did you become a crafter?
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember but I didn't start waeving and sewing until I started college. That was seven years ago and I have been a crafter ever since.
2 when did you open shop?
I graduated from Philadelphia University in December 2003 with a degree in Textile Design. Upon graduation, I bought a loom and just started weaving. I have always loved fashion and decided that I was going to try and make a living at it. So I had a website and some business cards made and it just sort of took off. That was a little over two years ago.
3 what does the diy movement mean to you?
I love the idea of completely handcrafted things. And I also love the idea of taking charge of your life and doing what makes you happy. I am inspired by anyone who combines their creative talent and their business sense to create a way of life. I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
4 what are youre signature colors?
Honestly, I don't think I have signature colors. I love color. A lot of color. I guess my signature would be "multi-colored"
5 if you made $2000 in sales in 1 month what would you do? Figure out what I did to make that happen and do it again!
