1. How did you come up with your shop's name? My brother, Jack and I are telepathic. I live in Columbus, OH and Jack lives in Chicago. We came up for the idea for Mr. Pickles on the exact same day about 400 miles apart. Jack thought "He's a pickle that wears glasses." I thought back "Yes, and we'll have an awesome website and sell rad stuff." And then Jack thought "I hope your husband, Eric can sew." And then I thought "You bet! And let's call ourselves Fatty & Humper Designs, because our dogs are nicknamed Fatty & Humper." And Jack thought "Dude, I know!" And that is the totally true story of how we started our company!

2 what is the coolest thing a customer has said to you about youre stuff? We've gotten some interesting comments from customers about Mr. Pickles' swag. We most enjoy those who not only enjoy the merchandise, but get into the world of Mr. Pickles & comment on his travels, blog, etc.

3. when did you start you're company? We started drawing Mr. Pickles and friends in '02, and making merchandise in '03.

4 What do you like about selling online? It's a really convenient way to connect with our customers. Plus, in theory, we're reaching the entire world with our website - not just the peeps in our hometown.

5 what does indie mean to you? To us, being "indie" means having the freedom to experiment and try new things without having to answer to The Man.
