MissEvilkitty is the alter ego of one very eccentric young woman named Gabbie , started to craft or noticed she liked crafting and making things while still in Kindergardgen. ( See you do learn stuff in kindergarden) She also founded out right around that time that paper and glue can make some really cool stuff. So her love and search for craft books and supplies began. Around the age of seven she decided she wanted to go to fashion design school to be a fashion designer ,Still hasnt gone yet but still on the to do list . Gabbie is pretty much a self-taught jewelry designer, graphic designer, and artist. She says" I dont really follow the rules when i design Jewerly , am pretty much a rebel when it comes to my designs, I know vintage inspired is popular right now but not many people are sticking Modern with vintage, I have to stay true to what i know and like, Vintage beads are like my favorite cookies i buy more but am never happy with the amount i have so far".
Missevilkitty.org was born on 11-27-02 as a early birthday present. Gabbie bought the domain on this day. Few years later Missevilkitty moved to Missevilkitty.com .
The only time in Mek history Mek was put on hold was when Gabbie was dignosed with Systemic lupus erythematosus and that was in April of 2004. Gabbie was put on hardcore chemo couldnt, do much but hope for the best. Four years Later Gabbie says the lupus is under control still on a form of chemo but thats much nicer to the body, but still is in pain every day .she says "fighting with the lupus has been a daily thing but the fight some times is funny and nutty at times", she hopes her left knee would stop being moddy .
When not filling orders or designing:
Mek is Searching for Vintage beads and charms and findings for the shop, She says she does that ALOT and that Most of time she buys beads later to realize that she needs to buy bins for all the 1000+ beads she owns,
Or Shes hanging out with the future Mr. Missevilkitty watching one of there favorite shows or playing a video game/s.
Currentlly: Gabbie is taking a year off from school due to trips to the er in spring 2008.
