1. tell us the story of how you came up with the name? My business partner, Tara Lee, is originally from Northern California. "Hella Good" is a slang phrase from that region meaning "really good." We thought, hey, that describes our bath products!
when did you start making beauty products? I've been making bath products for about 10 years now.
did you design youre web site ? I designed our website. It had a different look when we first started, but we recently revamped it so that it would look "cleaner" and more user-friendly.
what item do you like making the most? I really love making our fruit-filled bath scrubbies, especially coming up with names for them!
do you ever keep a item you think totally rocks? I use all the products I make, because I think they all rock. I always make one for myself and one to sell. I'm a bit greedy that way.
Who are your biggest fans? We have fans all over the world, and we have a high number of repeat customers. We have also provided products for celebrity goodie bags and events.
whats is the coolest comment you have gotten from say a customer? That our products are amazing and made a difference on their skin.
what do you think you are going to be doing in say 10 years? I would love to own a brick and mortar bath store, where I'm whipping the products in the back room.
Is having a shop that sells beauty stuff hard? Every business takes hard work, but it's something I love to do, so it's more fun than hard work.
what is youre signature color? Hella Good's signature colors are pink and brown, which always remind me of strawberry and chocolate ice cream.
whats one thing you want the world to know about your shop? That our bath products are hella good!
