1 when did you become a crafter? I don't think there's a specific time when I decided, "hey! I want to be a crafter." I think I grew up in a very crafty atmosphere, where everything and everyone inspired me to craft. The first person that got me really interested in crafts was probably my grandma. I would always see her knitting when I was a child, and knitting was one of the first craft-type things I learned to do when I was around 6.

2 Have you made something and not wanted to sell it? Definitely! As of right now, my closet is stocked with purses that I was supposed to add to the shop but have decided to keep. To this day, not surprisingly, I haven't used any of the purses. They make cute closet decorations, though!

3 what made you decide to open a online store ? After being consigned to a few shops online for the past 2 years, I decided to try my hand at selling stuff at my own shop. I got a fair bit of exposure through consigning with more well known shops, and a few shops have contacted me personally inquiring about stocking my items. After seeing that I could sell my stuff without having to pay a percentage of sale prices to consignment stores, I decided that I could give consumers better prices for my products.

4 what age group do you sell the most to ? Seeing as how my shop just opened a few months ago, I'm not exactly sure what age group my stuff has been sold to as the majority of my products have been sold through consignment. All of the orders that have been placed through my site, or through me personally have been to people in their late teens and early to mid-twenties.

5 what do you have planned for 2006? I have quite a bit planned for 2006! I'm planning to launch my line of necklaces by the end of February, as well as have a whole bunch of new patterns for purse designs drafted by the end of March. (The new purses probably will not get added to the shop until mid-April at the earliest.)
