1. What's you're favorite item to make? I love making hooded tops with the bib/yoke detailing on the chest. It gives me a chance to pick out some great fabric with awesome patterns and fun prints, which might otherwise be a little too busy and bold on their own, but looks great in moderation as detailing around the chest and neck as well as inside the hood lining.

2. What are you're signature colors? I love bright, cheerful colors like bright pink, electric blue, and apple green. I want my clothes to look happy ^_^, and I'll usually pair a bright colored fabric with a great print or a neutral color (like white, black, grey, brown..) to tone it down a bit.

3. What made you decide to sell on Etsy? Etsy is wonderful, and as far as I know has never been done before. Anyone, whether they do crafting as a hobby or a career, can open a shop and showcase their creations for people all over the world to see. It provided another outlet for me to promote my clothing and I just had to be a part of it. Before Etsy opened I had sold only through Ebay, and I found it bit difficult to find the right "diy" crowd to buy my items, but with etsy I know that everyone checking out my stuff is into handmade items, because everything shown on Etsy is handmade!

4. When did you open you're etsy shop? I opened my shop in fall of 2005.

5. What do you like about indie shop interviews? I think its a great opportunity for small indie businesses to promote themselves and get the word out about great diy and handmade goods. It's fun to browse the interviews and check out some terrific online stores which you may have never found otherwise.
