1 when did you start making your craft? I have always been a fan of the crafty stuff. I was forever "making something" as a little girl. When I went to college I studied fashion design and hand beaded everything! But it wasn't until I actually HAD my first baby that I started sewing again. I started by adding ruffles to her pants and slowly I added dresses..and then she took over my bags, so I added bags too! Now with the two girls I am forever designing something new!

2 what year did you open your online shop? www.2freshpetunias.com has only been online since October of 2005. Before that I was filling orders thru word-of-mouth advertising! With the website its gotten much busier!

3 How do you package your items? One of my BIG things is packaging..I love it. I package everything in clear cellophane wrap to let the fabrics shine thru..and it is all tied together with our 2 fresh petunias printed ribbon. We always enclose a card that highlights the recipients name..even if it is for themselves!

4 what is your signature color? For the business..its raspberry pink and lime green...for me, personally...I am such a PINK girl!

5 what went though your mind when you got your first sale ? OH my goodness..this is so cool! and this is so fun! And they are going to pay me to do this!
